Brooks Zeitlin has been designing and building since he was sixteen years old. This is when the two-story geodesic dome he created in his back yard attracted the attention not only of the Los Angeles Times, but also of renowned architect/philosopher Buckminster Fuller. Zeitlin has always been enamored with architectural forms and structures. Combining these interests with metal and woodworking skills, he has been creating fine custom lighting and furniture for 35 years. With his modern design sensibility; his expertise in woodworking, metalworking and machining; and close collaborative relationships with structural engineers, Zeitlin provides custom installations of commissioned pieces that accommodate site specific requirements. His wide range of skills and experience allow him to take a project from conception to completion.
