Piet Boon started his career as a carpenter and became an internationally known furniture and interior designer. He has penned a number of stunning design books and lent his hand to a wide range of projects ranging from a Limited Edition Range Rover to the Delano Hotel in Las Vegas. He and his wife, Karin, run a design studio with a team of architects and designers. As a designer, Boon is known for having a no-nonsense style. To ensure this, he involves himself in every facet of the design process. The principal point of departure for his design work is that the designs must be well thought out and they must also be timeless and durable. His clear and unique design style has an international image that has made him one of the most talked-about Dutch designers.
