The Beacon Credenza is constructed from thick planks of bookmatched Douglas fir, sandblasted to reveal the grain’s texture. It is then joined with dovetails and stained dark. With a method developed by Bruno Hervieux the four doors are covered with salvaged bullet casings that are cut open and flattened. A natural, irreplicable patina occurs when the bullet is fired, making each tile unique. The doors are tiered to lend depth to the pattern and give the illusion of movement. They open to reveal a natural fir interior.
