Julian Mayor is an artist and designer based in East London, his work is inspired by the sculptural possibilities of computers combined with industrial as well as craft making processes. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2000 he worked for Tom Dixon, Pentagram, and other design studios before teaching 3D modeling at the London College of Communication. Mayor has been exhibiting his work since 2007. His designs have been shown at the V&A London, The Museum of Art and Design New York, and Galerie Armel Soyer Paris. Julian has also installed a permanent series of sculptural benches in a park behind the Tate Britain, London.
