Celebrated for her work as a founding member of the experimental post-punk band Sonic Youth, Kim Gordon is a multi-disciplinary artist and thinker who has worked in fashion, visual art, writing, film, and music. Gordon’s rug is one in a series of three, and is an adaptation of a vintage dress treated with tar and morphed into an abstract shape.
