Punk Liberty 1 is a sculptural vessel made of 100% pewter lost cast in the sand at Waimanalo beach in Hawaii. Continuing the artist’s investigation into preservation and transformation, the object straddles the line between the fine and decorative arts by injecting art processes and meaning into functional objects.
