Singular Offset contrasts a sculptural, hard-edged rectilinear form with soft organic upholstery using richly textured arapaima fish skin (pirarucu in Portuguese) from Brazil. Arapaima fish are an important food source for people native to the Amazon area. The skins are a byproduct of the local food industry, and once tanned, are as durable as conventional leather despite appearing delicate with their visibly textured scales.
