The Mangrove Table by Scott Daniel Design. This design results from steel wire being manipulated by hand to create organic forms and patterns. The wire is pushed, pulled, bent, and crushed to be reminiscent of the trees and shrubs found naturally in mangrove forests. From certain angles one can see through the pieces, from others the view is obscured. No two pieces will ever be identical.

PROCESS
Inspired by the concept of Alchemy – combining basic elements to create something of great value - Cmesh was developed through an experimental artistic process. Clay and metal, normally incompatible materials, were combined in numerous ways and tested extensively until the process was developed and refined.
