During Salone del Mobile the London based designer, Lee Broom, is displaying new work throughout Milan in a repurposed, and refinished, delivery van. Broom has titled his mobile exhibition, "Salone del Automobile."

Lee Broom’s new series, “Optical”, will feature globe pendants and globe floor lamps with a pattern of disjointed black stripes as a throwback style to the 1990’s.

Broom explains his inspiration as, “[The Optical series is] really inspired by the period in which I grew up in.” And Broom continues, “I guess my first real foray into interiors was decorating my own bedroom in the early 90s and Optical really reflects the monochrome graphics and mood of that era.”

Broom’s mobile display will stop at Brera Design District, Spazio Rossana Orlandi, Zona Tortona, San Gregorio Docet, Ventura Lambrate and more. You can track the pop up gallery on http://www.leebroom.com/ during Salone del Mobile.
