Patrice Racois an international artist and sculptor based in France. The foundation of Racois’ work evolved from his formal education in industrial mechanics and structural welding. The “Earthquake” series uses steel blocks to form solid monoliths that are then cracked open to reveal the vulnerability of their form. Racois’ attraction to Minimalism stands in contrast to his desire to depict the fractured nature of our modern world.
