The Stone Chair, which is made from cast aluminum, is Ifergan's first exploration of furniture as form. Often working in clay, the material and mass of molten aluminum takes on a similar mass-like feeling of earthiness, resulting in a primoridal, nascent form with a shimmering metallic surface.
